This policy explains what personal data Gilly Car Wash collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

1. Who is responsible

Gilly, operating Gilly Car Wash, G.T. Road, Dutt Road, Moga, Punjab, is responsible for your personal data. Contact details are below and on our Contact page.

2. What we collect

• Wash Club details: your first and last name and mobile number.
• Membership records: your Wash Club card number, membership status, and the dates and times you use the wash.
• Payments: payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of each payment and mandate (for example the amount, date and status). We do not see or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
• Messages: anything you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email.

3. Why we use it

• To set up, run and renew your Wash Club membership and let your card work at the kiosk.
• To take payments, send pre-debit notifications and payment receipts, and process refunds.
• To answer your questions, handle complaints and damage reports, and keep our site safe.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We use your data only with your consent or for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data, and we will only send you marketing messages if you agree to receive them.

4. Who we share it with

• Our payment provider and banks, to process payments and mandates.
• Service providers who help us run the wash, our kiosk and membership system, and our website, under contracts that protect your data.
• Government or law enforcement authorities when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep Wash Club details while your membership is active, and afterwards only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example tax and accounting records). Then we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to: see a summary of the personal data we hold about you; correct, complete or update it; erase it when it is no longer needed; and withdraw your consent at any time (this will not affect anything we did before). You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. To make a request, contact our Grievance Officer below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. This website

gillycarwash.com does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Wash Club sign-up takes place on join.gillycarwash.com, where the details you enter are used to set up your membership and payments are processed by Razorpay. The site saves its own files on your device so it loads quickly and works offline. The map on our site is provided by Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
